KEYNOTES & WORKSHOPS

Dynamic, engaging and thought provoking!
I saw Sara Deacon speak and WOW! There were so many ah-ha, mic-drop moments for me... She talked about learning to step into your own life, how to describe and define who you are, how to overcome the fear of failure, fear of success and fear of change. She had the entire audience leaning in to learn more. I highly recommend hiring Sara for your next event!

Drama Detox

Elevate Your Interactions

Drama is everywhere. Whenever you’re dealing with people, drama has a way of showing up. From a passive-aggressive email to that one friend who can’t seem to show up without news of their latest crisis, drama has a way of seeping into our lives before we even realize it’s there. What if you could recognize drama sooner, sidestep the stress and turn tension into connection?

Drama doesn’t discriminate. In this interactive session, we’ll call out the sneaky ways that drama feeds conflicts and explore how to shut it down. You’ll get a crash course on the Drama Triangle and learn how to shift into a more empowered, drama-free way of engaging with the people around you. Through personal stories, humor and the practice of proven practical strategies, you’ll walk away with a fresh perspective and tools you can use immediately to improve your relationships—at work, at home and anywhere else you encounter humans.

You will learn:

  • What’s wrong with drama

  • What is (and isn’t) drama

  • The three roles people play in the drama triangle and why

  • How to get other people (and yourself) to avoid drama and get out of it faster when it can’t be avoided

Challenge your default roles, hold each other accountable and turn down the drama so that you can show up more authentically for yourself and the people around you.

Business Interrupted

Keep the Dream Alive when Life Hits the Fan

Entrepreneurship doesn’t come with a pause button, and life doesn't care about your business plans. Whether it’s a personal crisis, health diagnosis or family emergency, business owners often struggle to keep things running when dealing with real-life challenges. The fear of losing momentum or failing altogether can feel overwhelming.

This talk will explore personal experiences navigating business through tough moments and offer a roadmap for fellow entrepreneurs to stay afloat, adapt and thrive. With humor, hard-earned wisdom and actionable strategies you’ll be invited to rethink what it means to keep going when life hits the fan and explore three essential shifts: turning inward to focus on personal well-being, turning outward to seek help and support and letting go of everything that doesn’t really matter in your business so you can double down on what does.

This session is designed to encourage and empower business owners drowning in responsibilities. Whether you need permission to step back, a strategy to move forward or reassurance that you’re not alone, you will walk away feeling seen, supported and ready to navigate your business and life with more peace and resilience.

You will learn:

  • How to reframe survival mode as a strategic pivot, not a failure.

  • Practical ways to manage a business with limited bandwidth and energy.

  • The power of delegation, automation and asking for help.

  • How to identify and prioritize the essential activities that keep the business running.

  • To give yourself permission to adjust, adapt and redefine success.

You will leave with a renewed sense of confidence, clarity and some practical tools to move forward, no matter what life throws your way.
