A life coach equips you to live a life you love at every level. Most people have something they’re trying to figure out. An outside, nonjudgmental perspective can help you make sense of what you can’t make sense of on your own and help you move forward in a way that aligns with your identity and life purpose.
You want to make a change and you know you can’t do it on your own. You were never really meant to do it alone, anyway. A coach believes in you when you don’t believe in yourself, meets you where you are and won’t let you keep yourself there.
Talk to them.
Most coaches are happy to hear from you. Some offer free calls, live trainings or webinars, and even if they don’t, you can learn a lot about them through their online content (stalk them on social).
A great place to start is filling out a contact form or signing up for their email newsletter.
What does expensive mean?
To some people, any amount of money is too much. We all want something for nothing.
But nothing comes from nothing.
You either invest time, money, attention and energy or you waste it on distractions.
The Bible says, “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” (Matthew 6:21). If your treasure isn’t invested in what’s important to you, how will your heart be? And if your heart’s not in it, you won’t get very far.
There are many creative ways for you to afford “expensive” coaching. I can’t tell you what you can or can’t afford. I do offer several ways to work with me to accommodate a variety of budgets.
When you hire a life coach, you are making a commitment to yourself. Of course, there is a financial investment as well as an investment of your time, focus and personal effort. You can invest at whatever level seems right for you.
What makes your investment worth it is YOUR intention, attention, focus, energy and commitment to your goals.
I require permission from and regular contact with a parent/guardian in order to coach anyone under the age of 18.
Other than that, the coaching process is tailored to the individual client as a person more than to their age.
A coaching session is like talking to a friend. I’ll ask you some simple questions and listen to your story. I listen for your words as well as for the energy behind your words. I may ask more questions or share some information to help you see what you haven’t been able to see on your own. I’ll offer suggestions for simple actions you can take between sessions so you can make more effective choices in the future.
You’ll schedule each session at a convenient time for you. If you prefer to have a recurring appointment on the same day of the week/month, we do that. Regular sessions within a program are 30-60 minutes long.
Coaching sessions will generally take place over Zoom.
For clients local to Milwaukee or willing to travel, in-person sessions & VIP days will take place at a coffee shop, library, co-working space or other appropriate location.
